There is an open invitation to the long awaited launch of Professor David Howard's book on choral singing and healthy voice production this Friday evening at St Sepulchre's Church, Holborn, London.
A popular presenter at abcd events, David is a choir conductor, choral singer and organist, as well as Head of the Department of Electronics at the University of York. David brings his unique perspective as a scientist to the world of choral music and links his musical interests with his research wherever possible.
The evening will feature choral music from the Rudolfus Choir conducted by Ralph Allwood, refreshments, and signed copies of the book will be available at pre-publication prices. The event runs from 6pm. St Sepulchre's Church (the National Musicians' Church and a regular abcd course venue) is 5 minutes' walk from St Paul's Cathedral.
