Meon Voices is searching for a new Choir Director

Are you a passionate and inspiring conductor with a love for choral music? 

The Meon Voices, a thriving community choir of over 40 years' standing, based in Bishop's Waltham in the heart of the Meon Valley, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Choir Director to lead us from January 2025 into our future. Our much-loved current leader has decided she would like to take us through to our Christmas 2024 performance, before it's time to leave us after eight years of development and joy. As we are an 'Open Choir', no auditions are necessary for our members and she has welcomed those of all skill levels, leading us with great patience and support.

We seek someone who:

• Has a proven track record of choral conducting experience
• Possesses excellent musicianship and strong vocal skills
• Can create a positive and inclusive learning environment for singers of all abilities
• Is excited by sharing the joy of choral singing with the community

This is a voluntary position, but we offer a remuneration package (details on request).
