Genesis Chorale is a 50 strong, friendly mixed voice choir in the West Byfleet and Pyrford area of Surrey. We rehearse on Monday evenings and perform three concerts each year on Saturdays. We perform varied programs ranging from Requiem and Mass to more modern composers. More details can be found on the Genesis Chorale website. We are seeking a new Musical Director to begin the role in either September 2024 or January 2025. This is a contract role and is reimbursed per session.
The Musical Director will plan the musical program, direct rehearsals, arrange for musicians and soloists for the concerts, conduct the concerts and develop the choir.
The applicant should have relevant musical training and experience in leading choirs.
