ONGAR ESSEX VACANCY. Our group of 18 keen and committed singers require a new musical director. The club meets on wednesday evening and we perform three or four concerts a year which is set our in three terms. We sing in a yearly Christmas service in early December.
Our song repertoire is broad, including Classical, ecclesiastical, modern show musical, American Celtic and English folk, Victorian/early20th Century and middle English.
Our members vary in age and we currently have a good balance of Bass, Tenor, Alto and Soprano.
We hope to start working with the new director in January 2015.
Time is tight but we would like to appoint a director with skills in conducting and who has a strong and ambitious approach to leading our choir.
