The highly respected MD of Chepstow Male Voice Choir will retire in the summer of 2015 and this provides an opportunity for a talented musician, who enjoys the male voice choir ethos, to take over this demanding and rewarding position. The Choir has about 50 members and performs a wide variety of classical and popular works in English, Welsh and other languages. Performances are given for charities both locally and, from time to time, further afield. We give two concerts per year in Chepstow itself (audiences of 450) to raise choir funds. We also help our finances by singing at weddings and corporate events. The MD is supported by our very able Assistant MD and two experienced and accomplished pianists. We practice on two evenings per week, Monday and Thursday.
