This practical course looks at rehearsal and conducting techniques for leaders of all kinds of choir - no minimum experience is required. Delegates can either participate as conductors or attend as observers; a repertoire list is sent in advance. For those conductors with more experience or who have already attended previous abcd courses, individual tuition will be available during the course.
Both Jo and Peter are experts in their field, each with a wealth of conducting experience. Jo, originally from the USA, works as an animateur, conductor, clinician, author and singer; Peter is our Director of Training, founding conductor of the Joyful Company of Singers and gives masterclasses and adjudicates at international competitions.
The course runs from 3pm on Thursday 25 August to 4pm on Friday 26 August.
