This course is for those operating at a high level of choral conducting. Applicants should have a number of years' practical experience (including at least one current choir), and demonstrate command of a variety of musical styles, showing awareness of mistakes within the choir and correcting them, an ability to create a rapport with their choir and showing an understanding of how voices work.

This course can lead to the Licentiate or Fellowship of the Royal Schools of Music examination for those students who wish to take it. This can be discussed with course tutors during the course.

Observer places

For those who are interested to learn more about what the course involves, who enjoy singing a variety of repertoire, or are curious to learn some of the methodology without committing to any practical involvement. Places are limited and will be offered on a first come first served basis for each voice part.
