All webinars take place on Saturdays from 11:00 - 12:30, unless otherwise stated.

There is a small fee of £5 for each webinar. A link to join the webinar will be emailed to all participants on Friday afternoon, before the webinar on Saturday morning. N.B. If you book on Friday evening, we will send you the link on Saturday morning.

All webinars will be recorded and a copy of this recording will be sent out to all participants who have booked, so you can choose whether to join us live or watch later at your leisure.

13 November, Giving Voice to my Music with David Wordsworth and guest composers Cecilia McDowall and Adolphus Hailstork

David Wordsworth's book of interviews with 24 composers of choral music - Giving Voice to My Music - features in-depth conversations about the life and music of some of the most prominent names in choral literature. David talks to Cecilia McDowall and Adolphus Hailstork, both of whose music touches on issues of human endeavour and injustice, about their inspirations, their passions and the challenges they have faced working through the pandemic.

11 December, Winter Warm Up Wonderland: Vocal Health, Warm Ups and the busy festive period with Charles MacDougall

Tenor, Choral Director and Vocal Coach Charles MacDougall returns to abcd to present this webinar on vocal health, thinking about the return to live rehearsals and the winter season. The session will feature practical work and exercises to take away for warming up (and down) properly, advice on general vocal health and some consideration of the specific demands/dangers of the festive period. This session will be useful for singers, coaches and choir directors alike and there will be plenty of time for questions on vocal health and technique. Leading Singing in Secondary Schools: Get them singing, keep them singing
Twilight training sessions online for anyone working with singers of secondary school age Each session includes 60 minutes of training plus 15 minutes for discussion. Session are held on Zoom, from 5 to 6.15pm, with a link sent out to participants the day before. All sessions are recorded, so you can attend the session live or catch
