The Junior RCS Chamber Choir will be one of three choirs performing at the gala concert at this year's Annual Convention at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
It is the flagship ensemble of the comprehensive choral programme at the RCS Junior Conservatoire, under the direction of Andrew Nunn. Singing and the Kodaly method is at the heart of everything that happens at the Junior Conservatoire and all students are involved in a choir as part of their timetable. These choirs encompass ages seven to age eighteen across five different choral ensembles which are in much demand for events at the RCS and beyond.
The gala concert takes place in the Stevenson Hall of the RCS at 7.45pm on Saturday 27 August. NYCoS National Boys Choir, Changed Voices will also be performing, conducted by Christopher Bell, along with guests from Norway, the Norwegian Student Choral Society, an award-winning male-voice choir.
