Cat's Chorus, a well-established a capella choir based in South Oxfordshire, is seeking an enthusiastic Vocal Musical Director to lead the group for an initial period of 1 year, starting in September 2016.
We are a 25+-strong committed group of amateur singers with a range of abilities, established in 2004 and with an excellent reputation locally. We sing 4 part harmony from a large repertoire of songs, arranged specifically for us, covering genres that includes folk, jazz, pop and show tunes.
We are seeking an experienced choir director / voice teacher who is energetic, enthusiastic and patient, to lead our weekly rehearsals and regular local performances.
Rehearsal fee and gig fee paid for each appearance. Bulk of the administration is taken care, although some communication with the choir (via email) between rehearsals is required. Arrangements already provided.
