SMVC is looking to recruit a new Musical Director. This will involve an honorarium or fee per rehearsal (to be negotiated). We are looking for someone who has the ability enthusiasm and imagination to take the choir forward. Whilst we do not want to abandon the traditions of Male Voice Choirs we are aware of the need for change to attract members and audiences.
We are looking for an individual(s) who would be interested in helping us develop our repertoire, performance and concert style.
We currently have 60 active singers with several new recruits fir January. We also have several talented soloists and musicians. We also have a strong and active committee organisation and a music committee.
