We are an established 50-strong mixed community choir based in Ilkley, with a passion for singing and a joy in performing. We are quick learners, who love a challenge, with an eclectic repertoire, primarily a capella, ranging from Mozart to modern pop. We are looking for a new MD, starting in September 2017 to lead us in the next stage of our development.
You will need to be an experienced, versatile, creative and supportive MD who can help us learn and grow, and also possess vitality and humour. We rehearse in Ilkley on Monday evenings during term-time.
Short-listed candidates will be invited to run a trial session with the choir in Spring 2017.
