We are mixed voice choir of around 40 members based in Dorset, taking our name from the village where we rehearse. We are looking for a musical director from September 2017 and seek an imaginative individual with the following qualities:
Musical competence including keyboard skills and ability to conduct concerts. Patience and a sense of humour, excellent communication skills and an interest in extending the existing classical choral repertoire. We sing anything from Byrd to Bernstein and members seek enjoyment and pleasure through singing.
Weekly rehearsals on a Tuesday evening and a concert programme of three performances a year.
