Carshalton Choral Society is looking for an enthusiastic musical director who can train and encourage keen amateurs of varying levels of experience to produce a high standard of choral singing, and provide an engaging and challenging concert repertoire. Ability to accompany in the absence of a rehearsal pianist would be an advantage.
We are a well established choral society with a strong membership base of circa 100 amateur singers. Recent concerts have included the Bach B Minor Mass, Verdi Requiem and Britten St Nicholas. We perform four concerts a year, often involving professional soloists and orchestra. Rehearsals take place in Carshalton, South London, on Monday nights throughout the year.\n\n
