Child's Play India Foundation is a registered music education charity working with underprivileged children in Goa, India. We have two orchestras with 60+ disadvantaged children and a children's choral project that needs a choral director.
Our choir has worked with choral singers from the UK, Europe and the USA, but we would love to have a full-time teacher who could engage potentially hundreds of children in song. Our children love to sing but without a teacher we cannot build a sustainable choral project.
We are offering a salary, accommodation and international flights for long-term teachers (9-12 months at least).
We're based in sunny Goa where the weather is great all year round, the food is delicious and the beach a short distance away. Classes will generally be in the afternoons, after school hours so teachers will have most mornings available to pursue other interests etc. The position could be ideal for a recent graduate or even retired choral directors.
