Crowborough Choral Society (http://www.crowboroughchoral.com) is looking for an experienced rehearsal accompanist for our sessions at 7:45-9:45 on Wednesdays mainly in term time in Crowborough East Sussex.
We are a friendly non audition choir with 50-60 members performing mainly classical repertoire under our new MD Mark Beesley. We have some interesting repertoire programmed for the coming years, and want an accompanist to become part of the team to help the choir achieve their full potential.
The ability to play choral parts accurately in rehearsal, and to play the accompaniment well following the conductor is essential. We rehearse September to the end of June, and give 3 concerts a year plus a carol concert at Christmas.
A good fee is available by negotiation, and there is opportunity for extra fees for performing in concerts playing continuo for suitable candidates. Contact mark@markbeesley.com for further information.
