Shaldon Singers, an established mixed, non-audition choir, is in need of a new MD from Sept 2018 due to the retirement of the current MD. We are looking for someone with experience of conducting, energy, imagination and a good sense of humour who can run rehearsals in St. Peter's Church, Shaldon, on a Thursday evening. This is a paid position.
There are currently 80 singers in the choir who work hard to perform two concerts a year, one in May and the other in December. Our repertoire is mainly classical, but varied, and we like to have a small orchestra in May.
