The Sussex Gruffs Male voice Choir is seeking a Musical Director to take rehearsals, plan repertoire and to conduct on the concert stage.The choir has around 45 members and is still expanding. We perform in approximately 9-12 concerts a year, sometimes with other choirs. We sing mainly non-classical music with a wide repertoire ranging from stage songs to spirituals and from nostalgic pop to folk songs.
Rehearsals are on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 pm in Worthing in West Sussex. The choir is very friendly and great fun but also dedicated to performing to a high standard. If you are an experienced choir leader or maybe inexperienced, but have the musical 'appetite' to develop your directing skills, then we would love to hear from you.
