About the role 

To assist, as a member of the music team, with the training and directing of the choirs of Scunthorpe Cooperative Junior Choir. To be the conductor of a Scunthorpe Cooperative Junior Training Choir and an ambassador for Scunthorpe Cooperative Junior Choir within the local and wider community.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate would be experienced in leading choirs and working with early years age children. The candidate would have strong musicianship skills and be confident in developing positive relationships with both children and parents. The candidate would need to be willing to undertake (funded) training where necessary to gain the necessary skills for the role. 

Contract 
 

Rehearsals take place every Friday evening, during term time and will be paid at an hourly rate of between £25 - £33 per hour (depending on skills & experience).  

Performance expenses will also be offered at a rate to be agreed.

Start date – September 2018, with possible handover in July 2018.
