Manchester Glee is looking for a new Musical Director to start in July 2018. Manchester Glee is a fin, amateur, non-audition choir with around 50 members who have been singing together since 2010. We sing in four part harmonies. We are looking for a Musical Director who is fun, creative and passionate and will help the group indulge in their love of pop and musical theatre songs, with a few cheesy numbers thrown in!
The MD would be responsible for the majority of song selections and would be required to arrange all songs. They must be fun, upbeat and enthusiastic. They will need to accompany the choir, preferably on the piano/ keyboard.
We do one main show per year in November/ December with 3-4 other performances throughout the year. Rehearsals take place at South West Manchester Cricket Club, Chorlton every Tuesday evening between 7:30 and 9 pm.
