In Manningtree, Essex/Suffolk border, we are a non-audition SATB choir of about 50 members seeking a Musical Director for January 2019 to replace our present MD who is leaving after 16 successful years with us to pursue other musical activities.
We rehearse on Monday evenings in term time and perform three concerts a year from a repertoire of sacred and other great choral works as well as modern songs and arrangements.
We are looking for someone with experience of conducting SATB choirs, soloists and instrumentalists, who has the ability and enthusiasm to motivate and promote the development of a long-established group of singers.
