Enfield Choral Society is seeking a talented rehearsal accompanist.
The role offers the opportunity to work closely with our Musical Director, Mark Sproson to help prepare the choir for an exciting repertoire of concerts.
Enfield Choral Society is a non-audition choir of around 70 members performing four concerts a year (including a Christmas Carol Concert) to a good standard. The concert programme is drawn from both the classical and modern choral repertoire.
Rehearsals take place on a Tuesday evening from 7:30pm until 9:30pm at St Stephen's Church Hall in Enfield for around 40 weeks of the year in line with academic terms, with two additional rehearsals during concert weeks. There are also opportunities to accompany some concerts on piano and to perform solos for additional fees, by arrangement.
Enfield Choral Society's remunerations and fees are commensurate with experience and expertise, and guided by recommendations made by Making Music and the Musicians' Union.
We will be looking to shortlist in October and audition from 23rd October with a view to the role commencing in late November 2018.
