The Choir is a four part Choir of approximately 46 voices. Singers are encouraged to read music and practice at home in order to make progress in rehearsals. We rehearse on Thursday evening in Longton Central Hall.
The music performed is wide and varied,from Neil Diamond, The Beatles and musicals, to religious works such as Sanctus.
We perform 15/20 concerts throughout the year with Galas in the Spring and Autumn. Christmas concerts are popular and well attended.
The choir has made an appearance on X Factor and often performs with a guest singer as well as soloists from the choir.
