Sefton Ladies Choir is a unique women-only community choir based in Sefton, Merseyside. We've been performing at concerts and in the community for well over 30 years. We're a friendly informal group who share a love of singing and enjoy a wide range of music - classics, ballads, folk, musicals - as well as more modern compositions, usually for 3 voices. We currently rehearse on Tuesday evenings in Formby, near Liverpool with Easter, Christmas and summer breaks. Lynne Rogers, an accomplished Soprano soloist, has been our MD for the past 5 years but is now moving onto pastures new. Meanwhile, pending recruitment of a new MD, our experienced accompanist is Acting MD.
The role of Musical Director is remunerated from the fees of choir members.
