The Edinburgh Telephone Choir, which has been a well-established institution for over 70 years, is actively seeking a new Musical Director to lead the choir from September 2019.
This is a well organised SATB choir numbering around 40 singers. Our repertoire typically ranges from show tunes and pop arrangements to light classical, traditional music and Christmas numbers, usually with a piano accompaniment.
We hold an annual concert over three evenings in the Church Hill Theatre in Edinburgh, and usually two Christmas concerts. There are also occasional smaller fundraising concerts.
We have an extensive library but the exact programme for each season is chosen by the M.D.
We rehearse weekly on Monday evenings from September to early May. We are a registered charity (SC0431195). We welcome enquiries from anyone interested in this opportunity. choir@nbct.co.uk
