Junior Conducting Fellow

London & South East

Organisation: The Zemel Choir

The Zemel Choir is looking for a vibrant, enthusiastic Junior Conducting Fellow to work with our present professionals, Musical Director Benjamin Wolf and AMD Franklyn Gellnick. This exciting opportunity, now in its fourth year, should be of interest to a candidate who is seeking to develop a career in choral conducting, singing or voice coaching, and is likely to be of most interest to current postgraduate students or recent conservatoire graduates.

The successful applicant will be expected to help plan and deliver events aimed at attracting new members and audiences within and beyond the Jewish community; additionally to research new repertoire and support our professional team.

The Zemel Choir, established by Dudley Cohen in 1955, is proud of its reputation as one of the world's finest mixed-voice Jewish choirs. Our wide ranging repertoire embraces all the traditional Jewish cultures, Ashkenazi, Sephardi, Yiddish and Israeli.
