Abbeydale Singers, a 35-voice auditioned chamber choir based in Sheffield and well known for its versatility and professional-level performances across all genres and periods, invites applications for a new Musical Director. The choir performs regularly in the Sheffield and South Yorkshire area producing concerts of varied style with programmes having a particular emphasis on a cappella singing. We are looking for a Musical Director who can continue our heritage of music-making whilst enhancing and expanding the choir's reputation and repertoire even further. The choir normally performs around four formal concerts a year, with rehearsals taking place in Sheffield on Thursday evenings.
