We seek a Musical Director from September to succeed Miguel, who has markedly improved our sound and performance in the last few years, and is to leave for family reasons.
The Downsmen is a friendly award-winning male-voice a cappella choir around 30-strong, who rehearse in Leatherhead, Surrey on Wednesday evenings. Our repertoire includes popular classics, ballads and songs from musicals, and we perform locally at venues ranging from dinners to charity events to music festivals.
We would welcome an MD who will help us enjoy singing
a cappella together as well as developing all aspects of our performance.
