Music Director

London & South East

Organisation: Dulwich Choral Society

Dulwich Choral Society is one of London's leading amateur choirs. Now almost 120-strong, it celebrated its 75th anniversary in April with a performance of Mendelssohn's Elijah in Cadogan Hall. Other recent highlights have been a cycle of the major Bach choral works, in prestigious locations, and the world premiere of Jonathan Dove's Arion and the Dolphin.

We rehearse in Dulwich on Monday evenings during term-time and usually give two major concerts per year with high-calibre soloists and orchestra, plus a lighter summer concert, a carol concert in aid of local charities, and a Come and Sing Day.

Aidan Oliver is leaving us at Easter 2020 after 13 hugely successful years, following his recent appointments as Chorus Director for Glyndebourne and the Edinburgh Festival Chorus. We are looking for a successor to build on his achievements and develop a new vision for our future.

The closing date for applications is 15 Jsanuary 2020. Full details, including the job specification, the person specification and how to apply are at https://tinyurl.com/rmnyg81 and in the About Us section of dulwichchoral.com.
