Notre Dame School is seeking to appoint a Head of Music to provide professional leadership and management of the Music Department, promoting and developing its academic and competitive reputation and securing high quality teaching, effective use of resources and the highest standards of learning and achievement for all pupils.

Music plays an integral part in school life at Notre Dame, with regular whole school rehearsals, major music events including Prize Giving, Feast Day Masses, Christmas Carol Service, Musical productions and a range of formal and informal concerts throughout the year.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Head of Department or experienced teacher who is able to demonstrate excellence in teaching and learning up to A-level. You will possess energy, enthusiasm and will have a genuine passion for inspiring your people in a thriving department.

The Head of Music will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the capability to manage and inspire and have an outstanding commitment to the development of Music.
