Established in 1902, we are an amateur SATB choir of about 100 members with a range of musical abilities aspiring to professional standards. Our current Music Director is retiring after over 40 years and we seek to appoint a new Music Director to build on his successes and maintain the traditions of the choir, but we also see this as a great opportunity to expand our repertoire and vocal skills in new and exciting ways.
We sing a variety of choral music including the major choral works but also newer works. Professional soloists and orchestra accompany our concerts. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings in Ware.
