We are a long-established four part choir of approximately 50 members, who are looking for a new Musical Director (MD) who will lead us in a post Covid future.
We are a Committee led, open access choir, no auditions required, who sing for pleasure and to raise money for various local and national charities. We meet every Wednesday evening from 7:30-9:30 during term time, in the Mid Bedfordshire town of Flitwick.
The choir owns an extensive library of music, ranging from musical theatre to classical, or, as we often say 'we will sing anything from Bach to the Beatles', and now also include more modern pieces too.
The MD would be responsible for: The management of the structure, pace, focus and content of rehearsals and performances. Will plan, and lead rehearsals and performances, decide the repertoire for concerts, taking into account where possible, the wishes of the membership.
The post will start on September 8th 2021, Government restrictions permitting.
