Aldeburgh Music Club choir (AMC) seeks applications from excellent keyboard players with experience of accompanying amateur choirs in rehearsal. AMC, founded by Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears in 1952, is a mixed voice, non-auditioned choir of c.80 members who meet to rehearse in Aldeburgh or Leiston (East Suffolk) on Tuesday evenings during academic terms. The choir performs three concerts a year (customarily at either Snape Maltings Concert Hall or Orford Church) to a high standard with professional soloists and orchestral players, as required by programme. Its Music Director is Tom Appleton.
