Would you like a new and exciting opportunity? Do you have what it takes to lead a motivated group of men who sing four part A Cappella and to help hone their musical and performance skills? If the answer is 'yes' the Southern Union Chorus [SUC] would love to hear from you.
We are an enthusiastic, ambitious and friendly men's chorus who aim to build on the work achieved over the last five years with our current MD who leaves us to pursue his career.
The Chorus has been together for 42 years, performing for audiences, competing in Music Festivals and the annual Convention of the British Association of Barbershop singers. We also enjoy supporting community events and providing local charity donations.
We are looking for an energetic and dedicated Musical Director to share our ambition and take us to a new level. We rehearse on Monday evenings, all year round, in the Hall of the Ocean Academy, Poole, Dorset from 7.30pm to 10pm.
