Cranford Choral Society is a very friendly, informal, non-auditioned choral society, looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic new musical director, to start in January 2022, to replace our current MD who is retiring. We meet on Monday evenings from 8-9.30pm in Moulsford, near Wallingford, in south Oxfordshire. We currently have a membership of about 30 but have had as many as 80 members in the past and would like to build our membership up again to that sort of level, attracting singers of all ages and standards from the local area. We work towards 2-3 concerts each year and have performed a huge variety of different types of music - some very serious works and some more lightweight music.
