We are a very friendly choral society that meets around 40 Wednesdays of the year from 7:45pm-9:45pm in central Uxbridge, opposite the tube station (Metropolitan & Piccadilly line). We perform 3-4 concerts a year including a carol concert, a lighter summer concert and major choral works, one per year with professional orchestra and soloists.
We are looking for an accompanist of very high standard (excellent sight-reading is required) to accompany our rehearsals and play for some concerts each year. Rehearsals are relaxed with an emphasis on enjoying ourselves, as well as making great music.
