The Nantwich Singers is a well-established, highly regarded chamber choir of 18 experienced singers, with an enthusiastic audience following. Our repertoire ranges from renaissance to contemporary music, mostly a capella. We prepare three or four concert programmes a year, and enjoy a close relationship with St Mary's parish church, singing at special services two or three times a year. We have recently extended our performance venues in Cheshire and Shropshire, and for several years have deputised for abbey and cathedral choirs across the UK, singing choral services from Bath to Edinburgh.
Based in Nantwich, South Cheshire, we rehearse on Tuesday evenings in the parish church. An elected committee oversees the running of the organisation.
We are looking for a capable, enthusiastic director to lead us forward, following the retirement of our previous musical director, and an interregnum during the recent Covid-19 pandemic. A remuneration package is available.
