The V&A Ensemble is a twenty-strong, auditioned, SATB choir, based in Matlock Bath, Derbyshire. Members are drawn from Derbyshire and Staffordshire.
The Choir sings a range of music, largely composed and/or arranged by its co-founders, Vicki Clemerson and Alan Barnard (hence V&A).
The Choir rehearses at Holy Trinity Church, Matlock Bath, Derbyshire on Friday lunch-times, from 12:30 to 2:30. Typically three or four concerts are performed each year. A recent charity concert (30th April), in support of the people of Ukraine, raised over £1,000.
A Musical Director is sought to lead the musical development of this enthusiastic and closely-knit Choir and to conduct at performances. Videos of recent performances are available to candidates.
