We are currently seeking a talented and inspiring Rock Choir Leader to run choirs in or near Cambridge, Huntingdon, St Neots, Royston, Chatteris & Ely. You will be joining the UK's largest and most popular contemporary choir, with nearly 25000 members led by musicians like you in over 300 local communities nationwide.
As a Rock Choir Leader, you will be fully trained for the role and will need a high standard of piano and vocal skills (Equivalent to ABRSM grade 5). You will also need a positive and energetic approach to work and a caring, happy and charismatic personality.
The ability to work enthusiastically as a team player is key (no divas please!) Successful applicants will join the current team of more than 60 friendly, supportive and outgoing musicians who are already enjoying their career with the UK's favourite contemporary choir. Opportunities to perform on stage and on TV come with the job. You would work a 3/4 day week leading choirs learning popular songs with 1 additional regular training day per month and work 30-35 weeks per year with our long holidays. Arrangements and many other resources and support are provided. Your choirs would mostly take place on weekday evenings and you would be leading the choir members (who will become like an extended family to you) to concerts locally and nationally.
Access to a car (daily) is a necessity and a PA system will be needed to accompany the role.

If you can't see past your summer schedule or your end of year exams do apply now as training will take place after these commitments with the aim of leading your choirs from this October. We will also contribute towards your travel expenses for the interview.
