Bolton Chamber Choir was founded in 1961. The group sings a wide and challenging repertoire of music, ranging from the sixteenth century to the present day. A high standard of musicianship and commitment is demanded of the members. The choir performs three or more concerts a year, some of unaccompanied music and others shared with instrumentalists.
Rehearsal are on Wednesday evenings, 7.30pm to 9.45pm, in Bolton.
We are seeking an MD with experience of choirs singing a capella. The choir does not have a regular accompanist, so the MD must be able to rehearse the choir from the piano.
