As the COVID-19 pandemic has stopped our face-to-face training and networking events for now, abcd has been running a series of webinars since the beginning of May. Forum discussions and lectures are led by our team of tutors and special guests on a wide range of choral topics, usually on a Saturday morning. You can find details about the latest webinar series and book your place here.

Most past webinars are available to view as a member-only resource, which are accessible at the links below:

On the 30th May, we hosted a webinar on The changing face of choirs: adapting to Covid-19. As this webinar is of such great importance to the choral community at this time, abcd have made the decision to keep this webinar publicly accessible on YouTube here.

Additional resources following on from the 30th May webinar: Professor Ashley has put together an information sheet about choirs and aerosols which can be found here. On 4th June 2020, abcd published a research paper on the impact of the COVID-19 virus on choral activity in the UK. Find out more here.

Can you support us?

We hope that you find these new online resources useful and informative! Over the coming months, these resources will be developed and added to, and we hope that this Resource Bank will form a useful glossary of information for all choral leaders. However, in light of the ongoing situation with coronavirus and the postponement of our live work, abcd, like all arts organisations, faces a difficult time. If you feel able to make a donation to help sustain the abcd community of staff and conductor tutors and to support the creation of innovative online resources, we would encourage you to do so here.
