Convention returns!
Join us in the centre of York for our 37th Convention, the first live Covention since 2019.
We've an exciting weekend planned of workshops, repertoire, exhibition and networking for everyone who leads singing, whatever their experience. Catch up with colleagues, meet new ones, browse new repertoire, brush up on skills with leading practitioners and take part in debate. If you can't make it for the full weekend, why not join us for a day? There are options to attend on either Saturday or Sunday.
About the weekend
- lots of opportunity to meet and network with fellow choral leaders, teachers, publishers, composers and more
- three strands of sessions running through the weekend
- a dedicated education strand
- the latest repertoire to try out through the weekend
- practical sessions with presenters including Jeremy Haneman, Robert Hollingworth, Susan Hollingworth, Lucy Hollins, Charles MacDougall, Roxanna Panufnik, John Rutter and Suzzie Vango
- a full day of sessions on Saturday
- sessions on Sunday morning, finishing with lunch
- networking and social activity on Friday night
- early evening concert and dinner on Saturday night
- trade exhibition in the atrium to browse over your coffee

Fees
All rates now exclude catering, but there are plenty of food outlets close by. Our separate Saturday Convention dinner is sold out!
- Full Convention (Saturday and Sunday): £230 (£185 abcd members). Includes evening performance. SOLD OUT!
- Saturday only: £127 (£102 abcd members) Excludes evening performance. SOLD OUT!
- Sunday only: £95 (£75 abcd members)
- Saturday evening Convention dinner (three course meal): £27 SOLD OUT!

- If you'd prefer to pay by card offline, or would like us to send an invoice to you or your school, choir or other employer, just get in touch with us and we'll be happy to set that up.
- If you're an abcd member, log into your account first to get the member rate
- Once you've filled in your contact details, click 'next' to go to services, where you'll find all the delegate options and also options such as dietary requirements
