Choral Conducting: An Initial Guide

If you're new to choral conducting, or have conducted for a while and want to back up your experience with training, why not join our tutor Lucy for this specially designed one-day course? Lucy is the Creative Director of the National Youth Choir, Associate Conductor of the LSO Chorus and, with Suzzie Vango, joint author of the award-winning warm-up book How To Make Your Choir Sound Awesome.

This supportive and informal fully interactive day will include individual podium time for all participants and will cover key topics such as:

Getting to the venue: The Birmingham and Midlands Institute is located in central Birmingham. It is a short walk (approximately ten minutes) from Birmingham New Street and Snow Hall Station.
