The ROH Thurrock Community Chorus is a 140-strong group of members of the Thurrock community united by their passion for singing and their commitment to their community. The diverse, unauditioned group includes singers of all levels of experience from retired semi-professionals to those who have never sung before. We are now seeking a repetiteur and Assistant Musical Director to work with the ROH Learning and Participation team and the Chorus`s Musical Director, Jeremy Haneman, to take the project into its exciting next phase. The post is offered on a casual PAYE basis, initially until July 2018 but with the possibility of extension. The time commitment involves weekly term-time rehearsals on Monday evenings, 7.15pm-9.30pm at a Thurrock venue. Additional engagements will include termly skills-building days, performances around 6 times a year in Thurrock, London and other locations, and occasional meetings in Thurrock and London.
