Elmbridge Retirement Village Choir will be needing a new Music Director from September 2018 due to my forthcoming move out of area. The choir would suit somebody with lots of enthusiasm, a big heart and a sense of humour. It is run by its own very able administrator and has two pianists available. The choir takes itself seriously and sings in three-part harmony with scores. Members enjoy a challenge. It is based in a beautiful fully-serviced hall which includes a concert grand piano in the village, which is on the edge of Cranleigh in Surrey. A nice little earner with only two main concerts a year and a great starter choir, in my opinion, for someone seeking to develop conducting skills.
