Sussex Chorus is looking for a talented and enthusiastic new Director of Music who can help the choir realise its ambitions for keeping classical music very much alive in Mid Sussex.
We are an 80-strong SATB choir, non-auditioned, with nearly 100 years of performances behind us. Giving four concerts a year, we aim to make our programmes varied and attractive to audiences and singers. The committee works hard to ensure the choir is financially viable and able to engage quality soloists and orchestral players for key concerts.

Rehearsals are on Monday evenings during school term times. The recruitment process will include an interview plus, for the final shortlisted candidates, an audition rehearsal with the choir and our accompanist. We hope the successful candidate can make some availability during Autumn 2018 to discuss future programming.
