MUSICAL DIRECTOR WANTED for the West Somerset Singers, a well established choir based in the Taunton Deane area of Somerset. We are well known locally for our high standard of musical direction and public performance. We are friendly and enthusiastic, currently 35 strong, and enjoy learning and performing a wide musical repertoire. We are looking forward to an exciting future. The choir rehearse every Monday evening during the spring and autumn terms at Taunton School, culminating in a public concert at the end of each term.
We wish to recruit a capable and confident musical director, commencing January 2019, who will continue to lead us in the high standards and breadth of music that we have performed in the past. A modest honorarium will be paid.
