Harlequin Chamber Choir seeks a new Music Director from January 2019. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced leader who can inspire the choir to develop as an ensemble.
We are a dynamic, friendly adult mixed voice (SATB) chamber choir, founded in 2013 and based in Guildford, Surrey. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings during school term times from 7.45 to 9.45. We do not favour any particular genre of choral music, but generally sing a cappella choral arrangements. The choir is ambitious and aims for the highest possible standards. Generally, we aim to strike a balance between having fun and achieving choral excellence. We perform several times a year in concerts, charity events, weddings, memorial services, arts festivals, recording sessions and competitions.
Fees for rehearsals and concerts are negotiable.
