Brentwood Choral Society is seeking a new Director of Music to start in January 2019.
The choir was founded in 1941 and since then has played a leading part in Choral singing in Brentwood. We currently have a membership of about 35 and perform concerts at least four times a year. Our own concerts are typically before Christmas and in the summer, but our long association with the Music Department at Brentwood Cathedral enables us to join with their Singers and other local Choral societies to perform major works in the Cathedral mostly with orchestral accompaniment. Brentwood Choral Society's Director gets regular opportunities to conduct these joint concerts.
We are looking for an inspiring, well organised and good communicator to work with the choir to continue to perform well.
