Hailsham Choral is an auditioned, amateur, SATB choir with about 60 members and is based in Hailsham, East Sussex. Our much-loved MD is stepping down after 13 years and we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic replacement to start in January 2020. The right candidate would ideally be a singer themselves or have previous experience working with choirs and has the knowledge and expertise to plan repertoire, teach vocal technique and engage soloists and orchestras as required.

We currently have an Assistant MD, who is able to take some rehearsals and share in conducting smaller concerts.
A honorarium is paid, and fees for the workshops and concerts, which vary depending on programme. Details are available on request.
